Gaels Storm Past Leafs at Olympia

Morley Kells had dreams of a professional lacrosse … to that end he started the Toronto Maple Leafs Senior Amateur box lacrosse team in 1966 and scheduled a game against the Oshawa Green Gaels (disguised as the Detroit Hornets) and invited Bruce Norris of the Detroit Red Wings to the game. The National Lacrosse Association started the next year.
