Last week we heard the unlikely story of Canada sending a women’s team to compete in the inaugural IFWLA Brine Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in Nottingham, England. The collective will of coaching staff and players was enough to get the team to England to represent Canada.

The team was predicted to finish last in a six team field. The Canadians were considered unorthodox in their style of play by their international opponents. Their box lacrosse style of play was frowned upon.

Join us in this next part, as these proud Canadians enter the tournament as massive underdogs. The historic result is a surprising one.
