Paul Parnell (hall of fame bio) began playing lacrosse in Peterborough and played two seasons of Senior for Peterborough in 1958 and 1959. In 1960 he joined the Victoria Shamrocks for one season. In 1961 he joined the Salmonbellies and won five Mann Cups. He was selected to the ICLL/WLA all-star team in 14 of his 15 years with New Westminster, and retired in 1975 holding 23 WLA records and three Mann Cup records.
